The City of Eliy

In this world there are three types of dragons, the noble Red, the scavenger brown, and the evil black. Red dragons live in a family type society, and befriend humans since they carry the same values for family. They are looked highly upon and speak to people with telepathy. They are extremely intelligent and enjoy a good challenge of wits.

The black dragons are massively huge brutes that are twice the size of a full grown red dragon. They are vicious and have a competition with the red dragons on breeding grounds. The black dragons like to breed and live in ground based caves as do red dragons. They tend to live in tunnels that they have dug into mountain faces or sometimes in the bottom of valleys. The black dragons will fight to the death to destroy a family of red dragons to use the cave to raise its young then leave and return to their tunnels. They are often hunted by humans and elves alike, for they tend to like the taste of humans and elves. They do have a breath weapon but no one is quite sure what it is. There have been stories of fire, ice, and even acid. Though none have lived to tell what it was.
The brown dragons are the size of large Great Danes and are scavengers, for the most part. When they can they will hunt and kill the smaller/younger of the gryphons that live on the coasts. Gryphons and brown dragons have been enemies for centuries.

There are a number of different mythical animals that live in this world, including but not limited to: Moor cats, Pegasai, Unicorns, Thunderbirds, Roc's, Hell hounds, and many others that still need to be discovered. Once Eliy is saved from this evil, who would be willing to explore the unexplored and find the new creatures just waiting to be found. Only the tough return, and the tougher return with numbers.

The continent is predominantly elven. There are two nations of humans, one lives in the mountains in the south west corner of the continent with the earth village of elves, and the other in the south east in the marshlands away from elves. The south east tends to like to kill the elves, they think the elves are too pompous and are currently at war to take out the 'elven scum' so that humans may rein supreme.

There are four different types of elves. The earth elves, wind elves, fire elves and water elves. They all have the ability to control their elements, but like most abilities; many don't know how to use it. The few who do predominantly only know basics, like starting fires or making a breeze. Most who have tried something stronger have died.

Like most worlds this one has many types of magicks. There are the divine, arcane, and elemental. Elemental is the least common and the most dangerous. It has been known to kill more people than any other magic and few use it for that reason alone. The other magicks are just safer.

There are also the Arcane magicks that are comprised of complicated words and gestures to get even the slightest thing done. Even though it tends to be safer it is looked down upon since in the past the Arcane magicks were used to try to take over the existing world. May people will disown family for the uses of the Arcane.

Lastly there are the Divine magicks. These are granted to those that are faithful to their god or element and are then blessed with healing magicks. These magicks range from empathy, to take others pain, to being able to heal with a touch. These magicks are the most prized and sought after. The people who wield them are praised and treated well no matter where they go.

2007-01-20 [One Winged Seraph]: ...right uh, sorry. I got no manners sometimes, so that was my bad.

I don't say my real name to strangers, so just call me Caim for right now. And though I'm altering Brian's character a bit, I won't make him a bad guy. Since I doubt he would want me to do that...oh and, I posted already. If I was supposed to get permission first, I seriously didn't know. And I'll delete if none of you like it.

I will warn you that the new semester started here and [K'jesrya], [lost_adonis], and I may not be on as often until we feel comfortable in our barage of classes. But we will not forget. Eventually [lost_adonis] and I will have internet again and it'll be easier.

2007-01-30 [One Winged Seraph]: Okay, I'm glad you guys replied. I thought I screwed up big time and you people just quit on me. I'm seriously happy that I was wrong. I pray that our time together be good ones.

2007-01-31 [K'jesrya]: You didn't screw up at all. The only thing about Rowan is, He was not chosen to be the Wind Destined. Soren was. [Firous], [lost_adonis] and I have no problem with you playing Rowen as the badass assasin type, we think that's cool and it will twist up the story, which is always welcome. The spirit of Soren will most likely leave the body of Rowan and return to the Wind. The remaining Destined would feel the loss and mourn it, but Rowan would still carry the sword, and when he next drew it, it would lash out like it would if anyone else were to touch it besides the wind destined. If you want to play Rowan and Rowan only, feel free to go to the character page and make a 'Character sheet' for him. That way he is his own character and Soren will be returned to Air and lay at rest. That's what [Firous] and I think...as well as [lost_adonis].

2007-02-01 [One Winged Seraph]: The more and more I think about it, the less I like it. I didn't want to take my friend out of the RP. He wouldn't want me to do that. I'll bring Soren back, and allow him to take control again. After someone postes, I'll make it to where Rowan plays his supporting role again...like an inner voice.

2007-02-02 [One Winged Seraph]: I play for my best friend, and that's mainly why I'm here. I'll bring back Soren, that's what I want. Also... this RP is interesting, one of the best ones I've ever been to, if I were to be honest.

2007-02-02 [lost_adonis]: Dude play the assassin... he is cool. we need more "normal" characters to add depth to the story... besides we are only limited by our imagination as far as Soran... he can come back or be gone forever or even have a totally different incarnation of the wind. Go with your first inclination, play what you want.

2007-02-03 [Firous]: It's ok. We're trying to get internet back on at our house but we will get the story ready. We are prepared to do what ever you want with Rowan. We even got story twists. So don't worry about what happens to Soren. All will be well. And as long as you're having fun and playing what you want we will have no problems with you.
